That picture is a bit deceptive...notice how his left fist is almost as big as his whole head.

It happens a lot when people take pictures of fish catches...they hold out the catch with extended arms twords the camera and because of perspective the catch looks much bigger than it actualy is.

Probably still a decent sized lobster though, just not a monster.

just a hair over 10 lbs - for sacle, i'm 6'2, 190 lbs or so and the thing was as big around as the thickest part of my leg.
