Your tank looks very nice. Got a lot of algae (like mine) and I'm betting it's cuz of all those fish in there. That's a big bio load on a 75g. How often are you feeding them? You have some nice corals in there, did you get any of those from Jasper? Good luck with the tank and keep up with the water changes!

Looks pretty cool. You have just about the same fish I have :) 3 chromis, 1 mandarin, 6 line and a few others. I like the red green enchino hidden behind some of the zoo's. :)

Thanks, Yeah I have quite the bioload. I dont know what to do, i love corals AND fish! A coral only tank with 1 or 2 fish is boring to me. I feed my fish once a day on average but i try to go every other day with the exception being the mandarin who i spot feed pellet food to daily. Most of the sps is from EricF some from ryan (bogg) and some from the RC frag growing contest. The zoos and other stuff have come from justin, danny and will when he was operating in SD. I do weekly 10gal waterchanges using scripps and clean out the G2 every 3 days, I run carbon and have just started using phosban but only a little bit to start off with.
5 Chromis
2 Yellow Stripe Gobies
2 Clown Gobies
1 Purple FireFish
1 Sixline Wrasse
1 Mandarin

The tank is looking just as great as when I picked up those shrooms and zoos. They are doing great by the way. Do you have any snails and/or hermits in there? Astreas are great for the glass algea.

Good looking tank. Very nice coral selection. Really like the zoos and blasto's.

I'm with you on the fish-in-reef-tanks. I've got 12 fish in my lil 50!

I have quite a few snails, 1 really large turbo, 1 large astrea in addition to multiple margarita and nassarius snails. I also have a number of hermits and 2 conches. It may not be enough but the tank is way under a year old so it'll mature more and i think that the algae will stabilize eventually. I also have a fuge with chaeto growing too. I dont want a bunch of things to die of starvation in the future, any suggestions?

I knew this hobby was going to be fun, but i had no idea it was going to be this addicting.

Hows your algae?

A quick wipe of the front and sides every other day, couple small bits of green hair algae...that's it.

Take some pictures of your beautiful, huge, pellet-eating Mandarin! I loved watching him.

The algae thing will clear up if you keep up the water changes. Mine is now past that stage at 7 months. I have 6 fish in my 29 and i feed them daily. Not really an algae problem anymore though it did.

Here is a quick update, I redid my rockwork and built a small shelf for the mid section of the tank. Ive been using carbon and phosban too. Looks like its working.

I did have to scrape the front glass to get rid of the green hard algae but other than that ive just been running 50g of phosban and some carbon. And i added an Lawnmower blenny. Maybe the tank is just maturing more too.

I can't seem to get pictures that really look like it but these are ok. Its fun to look back and see the growth every once in awhile.

Nice looking tank! I like the way you've arranged the rock. And your zoo shelf is pretty sweet.

I was messing around with the camera this afternoon and thought I'd share some new pics. I have a few less zoo's then before but they're making a comeback now.
