Missy, nice tank; quite a different looking overflow. Looking forward to see when it's aquascape and fully stocked.

Ya...let's see some pics and progress. :)
I'm not planning on setting up for another 6 months. I still have a cabinet to be built for it. Much like this design but to be viewed from both sides:
http://www.socalcreations.com/images/socal-pics/1gallery/scc_225/scc_2251.htm Right now, I pretty much have all the equipment I need. Just awaiting the sump. I'll definately update this thread when I get it finished!

The baby is great...he's such a good little guy and already sleeps through the night! Lucky me. :)

Ya...it is a bit diffrent. I did some brain storming with Kamil and he suggested the Calfo along with Herbie standpipes and hole placement (pretty much designed it himself ;) ). I was talking with a friend of mine and he pointed out that I didn't even need to put the overflow in the tank and it could be hid by the stand for a nice clean look inside. That's why I made it clear...so it could be checked easily. Thanks Randy, Kamil and Gonzalo for helping with the design!

No, I have a brother in law in Jersey who has his own cabinetry business and has been doing it for about 20 years. I thought he could whip up a sweet stand for me for a decent price.

I'm planning on it to be!!! :D

Boy that is really nice.. Any ideas for livestock?? Such as fish, corals? Or FOWLR??

I'm not sure yet..I think I'm going to go with the "garden variety" of corals. I like the euphyllids, wellsophyllias, and plating montis. I plan to use two 250w MHs with two T5s....not a whole lot of light but definately plenty to keep whatever I decide. As for fish...I keep looking at schools of lyretail anthias. Maybe I'll get one sunburst/fathead instead. Some chromis, bangaii cardinal, powder blue tang, pair of ocellaris and a candy hogfish or sixline wrasse. The wrasse gets a bad rep though. I haven't really made a list in stone yet. I have plenty of time to plan. :)

Looking good Missy!!! keep up the good work!!! Is your Overflow on the side? or was it just the camera angle? If you got the time, read my thread....maybe you can picksome ideas or learn from my mistakes....Im definitely going to follow this thread, while Im floating about...=)

Picked up my sump today. It's a 75g 36"x24"x20" with a 25g refugium 22"x16"x17". I've got the return Y-ed off, one going into the bubble trap and the other into the refugium.

I'll be setting it up here in a couple of months....probably in May. The sump is a monster because I hated trying to cram all my equipment into my other sump....used to get my hands all dinged up on the equipment and LR. With this monster...I have plenty of room!!!!

Thread says you'll have pics posted today...looking foward to them!
