That's not ghetto at all chin. All you have to do is clean up the cables a little and it'll look just fine. Nice setup.

what kind of lighting setup do you have? How much was it?

It's the cobbled togather tank from hell. Everything except the skimmer came out of the Box of Dead Tanks Previous. Even the skimmer would've if I hadn't dropped my old one.

The lighting is an old Hamilton 10K 175-watt retrofit from way back (and spider reflector). It was expensive back when I bought the thing, don't know what they sell for now.

At least now I can use up the bulb, I only used it for a couple months before tearing down that tank for something larger (stupid way to do things, but now I have lights).
