Almost any pic that you have hosted online that has a direct link (ie http://asfd.asdfjkl.com/asfd.jpg) you can use the img tags

[i m g]http://asfd.asdfjkl.com/asfd.jpg[/img]
(don't add the spaces in)
Actually uploading the pics to this site:
Click on new reply (can't do quick reply)
Either click on the little paperclip icon or scroll down on the page to "manage attachments"
Browse and upload from your comp and then you're good to go. I think max indiv file size is 100kb though, so it's sometimes a PITA.

Nice pics and tank. Enjoy playing with the white balance and then post up some full tank shots in the members gallery. Oh, and can I get a frag of that hammer? That's huge!

these links will help you out...
http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2006-03/gr/index.php

http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?%3Cbr%20/%3Es=&threadid=59236

http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=531326

These were all taken from the "The How-to's of the Photography Forum (http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=333197)" sticky from RC.

hope that helps :)

EDIT: the easiest way i find to host pictures, is to upload them up onto a free photo hosting domain like www.tinypic.com or www.photobucket.com
after uploading, they provide you with a [img] link for posting on forums which makes it easy to share your photos.
