Well, X-Mas is a few weeks away, and I would like to know... where in San Diego can I go to see nice light setups?

Post your experience and suggestions please! :)

I go to these almost every year... they always do a good job.
From Fishman's Link...
EL CAJON
Jingle Bell Hill (aka Pepper Drive Lights) - Solomon Ave./Pageen Pl. and surrounding area. Off 67 and Bradley.

Jingle bell hill is very cool, and so is Starlight Circle in Santee. They are only 5 minutes apart from each other. The one in Santee is much easier to drive through though, because it's just one big circle, where as the other one is driving up and down cul-de-sacs. The traffic is horrible there! I live right across the street from Starlight Circle so it's easy for me :p Whichever you choose...go early in the month! It gets much harder the closer you get to X Mas, and I haven't seen much traffic across from me yet :)

There is a Baptist church here in Escondido that totally goes all out every year, on Escondido Blvs I believe. They have live carolers and animals and hot coco I think.

the only problem with the church is that there is only 1 or 2 buildings with lights, but tons of them dont get me wrong. The church is more of a hang out spot for the younger kids and parents whereas the others are houses and houses and houses totally decked our in lights...But the church does look pretty amazing every year!!

I was actually going to suggest that...but with these places it's almost impossible to find a place to park! Unless, as I said before, go early in December, and go during the week instead of on the weekend :)

Hey..I checked out the light show tonight. Very spectacular.! The lights and music run every 20 min. I guess the show at 7:20 is the one to see. We were there for the 8:40 show. If it rains...NO show, so if you decided to make the trip, make sure it is a nice night... Well worth it!

Just another spot, Garrison St. in Point Loma off Rosecrans is pretty cool. Go up to the top of the hill and you can't miss the lights. It's not huge but there's a lot to see, easy to walk and plenty of parking. FYI.
