ditto, clam does look very nice. Good work (and luck!) with your first tank! Looks very nice so far. For asthetic purposes, a solid-colored background will help focus attention on the inside of the tank rather than the wires, skimmer, and wall behind. :)

Thanks for all the comments and encouragement.
I ended up getting a reef star 150 from YOLO . I think its a 14K but not sure the bulb doesn't say it just says "BLUE" so maybe a 20K??? As far as a background I had a black on there and it was the tape on kind and water would seem to find its way in between the tank and background and really looked horrible. Im waiting for coraline to cover the back LOL.... Does anyone know of a stick on back that I could get?
Oh yeah and a super good deal on the clam he even looks better in person i saw it and had to buy it. $30 bucks at Vets Pets and they had a nice selection.
Thanks again everyone and as you can see the tank is pretty bare so keep me in mind when you have frags :)

Oooooh Red/Green Brain. (Jealous). What did you end up doing for the background? You got alot of nice things and the background makes a huge diff.

Thanks again im really enjoying it. Now i think its time to just chill for a bit and watch everything grow. As far as the background i cleaned up the piece i had taped on before and stuck it to the back of my tank with a little vegi oil. Just put it on like tint. Worked really good.
