This is one of my marine planted tanks. The tank has an overflow and a small sump and skimmer. The lighting is an orbit 2 x 65 watt PC. The tank has a false perc, a neon gobi and a Klien's butterfly. I am still battling with hair and other nuisance algae but things are comming along.

Macros; Red grape, green grape, Cheato, Halimeda and about 3 or four others.

In the center is some shoal grass disguised with hair algae.

Another pic.

Very nice set up. Where did you get your marco from? I have a 10g tank connected to my main system that I think will work great for that kind of system.

very nice! Does the green grape kelp grow the same way as the red grape? ie on stalks and non-invasive?

Looks very good. Keep us updated!

The green grape Caulerpa can be very invasive. So far in this tank it has remained in low clumps. I think the Klein's butterfly is "pruning" it. The red is so much easier to control because it doesn't attach itself to rocks very easily.

I don't plan to add anything else except maybe more macro species. Mostly I am letting whatever pops up in there to grow, with the exception of the hair algae.

whoa guys, chill! If there's a problem, take it to PM's, not public.
