what lights are you using for 24 inches tall? i might be getting a 48X14X24 and am not decided on the MH lights. i think dual 175's with some actinic.


btw, interesting how you left that empty space in the middle. i like it.

well I'm using 250 DE on my tank and 250 SE and it's working well for me, I wanted to do a cliff on each side and leave the middle empty to give the fish some swimming room, and since it's viewable on 3 sides it lets me see all the way through, IMO I think there 's not much of a difference in price wise from a 175 to 250w and would rather just have more light then not enough later.. MO

I run the 175w on my softie tank and it works great, if that's all your keeping
