Here's a pic of my new 29 gal tank. I'm upgrading from a 7 gal Alife tank to a 29 gal.

Specs:
- 29 gal tank
- 50 lbs of Aragonite Sands
- around 30 lbs of Liverock (w/ a big piece of Tonga Rock)
- 2 x 65watt PC (will install 1 x 150watt HQI later)
- CPR Bak Pak 2 skimmer
- Filtered Scripps Ocean Water

That's it for now. Will be transfering the rest of my corals/fish from my 7 gal tank later this week. Plus, will be purchasing a CPR 12" HOB Refugium also. Will keep all you guys posted.

Just thought I share with you guys the progress of my tank. Learned alot from the site and others. also bought a few corals, fish, etc. Thanks for all the help and support.

Tank's spec:
-1x 150watt hqi
-2x 65watt PC
-Moore's stand and canopy
-hang on overflow w/ filter & proten skimmer
-auto top off
-29 gal glass tank w/ black back
-~ 30 lbs of liverock
-2 clownfish (black & false perc)
-1 coral banded shrimp
-big frogspawn ~15+ heads (started w/ 3)
-some zoas
-some mushrooms,
-2 different xenias
-1 hammer
-1 ricordia
-GSPs
-green bubble tip anemone (somewhere behind the rocks)

The tank has come a long way. I do water change almost every week (usually 10 gal water change, sometimes 5 gal). Dose Bionic I & II every other day. Dose iodine once a week. Feed the fish, shrimp and corals every other day or so.

enjoy the pics.

do you need to attach your frog spawn to a rock or can it just sit anywhere

Slickgib: currently the frogspawn sits on a hole on the liverock. it is not glued on or anything. it fits into the hole nicely and doesn't move at all.

sokal: thanx. doing my best to keep the tank nice and clean. having hair algae problem right now. bought some clean up crew (margaritas, hermits & nass. snails) over the weekend. hopefully they'll eat up all or at least most of the algae. i think the algae came from me stiring up the sand bed too much last weekend when i was cleaning the tank. other than that, everything is doing great.
