Are they fairly doscile? I mean, will they bother other shrimp, such as a scarlet? If not, I may drop by and pick him up from yah.

They don't bother anyone. Get a shrimp goby to go with him though. Yellow Watchman, Randell's, Pink Spotted... They have an interesting relationship to watch. Also, make sure you're rock is firmly resting against the bottom of the tank. Pistol Shrimp like to move sand around as they look for food and dig their burrow, which they share with the Goby.

I have a Randell's goby, if its not taken I would be interested in buddying them up
