uhhhh...if a pair means that they like eachother...what actually makes them a pair??? :D

I mean a mated pair, I think they'll pair-up if they get along. Not sure tho.

The bigger one is a female, and if they find that they're happy with the conditions of the tank, temperature, lighting cycle, etc, they'll lay eggs that will eventually hatch.

He's "kissing" her cheek spine, which is normal behavior for a male maroon clown with his mate. You're lucky to get a pair on the first try. We tried with several different fish before we got a pair. Some people think it's easy, we thought it was hard.

More proof is that she's not trying to kill him. She might occasionally charge at him, but he'll dodge and kiss her on the cheek spine, and then the world is at peace again.

Extremely lucky. Usually the little one is torn to pieces. Hopefully you'll get to see them lay eggs. :)

Chirs the ones you gave us are in the 2nd post 6th picture down...:) they yellow ones arent showing though there on the other side of the rock and didnt want to look good in a pic!! We have even gotten 2 more of the one in the pic but they're smaller and behind the big one you see in the pic...:D

That is EXACTLY what they're doing!! and YES we know were lucky because the guy at AW wouldnt give us the first marroon that we picked out because it was already a pair and they said its too hard to pair them up...thank god we lucked out i was so nervous to stick him in there!!

but your totally right about her trying to charge him but only when he is in her anenome then he turns right around and kisses her and stuff!
