My oven does not seem to work. The stove works, but trying to bake something is useless. The glow bar lights up, but the burner (rod with holes next to glow bar) doesn't produce a flame. I can smell a little gas after it's been on a while, but that's it.

Anyone know how to fix these?

Turn the gas on and climb inside to look at the ignitor, now it's gonna be dark so take a lighter so you can see:D uhhh..... don't do that.

How old is it?
What brand and model?
Does it "click" when you light the stovetop?
When you turn on the oven, does it click? did it use to?

Are you baking halloween cookies?

Replace your Ignitor (Glow Bar). they get week after a couple years of opperation and the gas valve won't open.
