Looks like you have a good start. Couple of grand more and it'll be fabulous:) The LR can be one of the most expensive components of a reef tank if you buy from the LFS. Unfortunately I purchased about 60lbs at $5-$7/lb before I found this site. Keep tuned for sales. $2-$2.50 seems to be the going rate here. Still you're looking at $400 -$600 in rock alone. Good luck. LMK if you want some pulsating xenia. Mine is going nuts!

Wulf - looking good!
Is any of that LR man-made? Specifically that big donut-shaped piece? Looks sweet.
I'm thinking if you're going reef you might end up needing more circulation...
Definitely keep posting pics as the tank progresses!
oh, and Rick, I'll take some xenia if you've got too much! ;)

Hey in your sig. it says harlequin, as in shrimp?
yes shrimp but he is dead now, I dont think I acclimated him long enough.
After I had him someone told me they take about an hour or 2 to acclimate.I only did it for 45mins. Oh well live and learn.
Blenny was taken out by emerald crab. no fish in tank yet, just crustations, coral, other growth
and thanks. I hope I can get to the point to give back for what I recive as pifs. When first setting up never thought about the coral fraging
can't wait but must.
You wouldn't happen to have ne frags of zoos or the like do u that u could donate to the cause:o would you?
Yea, I could hook ya up something, prolly a zoo frag.
You should get rid of that emerald, it'll cause you problems later.

But he's cool I dig crabs, although he is getting big fast.
One of the zoo frags I got from Fish fu had a hitchiker emerald on it(baby)
half the size of the original crab.
I would be stoked to get a zoo frag from u. Just LMK when
Thanks:)

Hey rudy,
I still dont have my pump for my skimmer and I dug your set up,
your rocks were covered in zoos and the difffernt mushies. Its kinda what I'm going for so any advice or help would be appreciated. Also I am planing
on put some fish in with this stuff u got recomendations?
Thanks again for the PIF frag
Todd
Hold off on the fish 'till you have that skimmer going.
I don't run a skimmer, but that's not for every tank. If you're gonna run an average fish+coral bioload in your tank, a skimmer will help you maintain better water quality. I olly have two small fish in my tank and will prolly only get two more.
What type of fish are you thinking about getting?

regal Tang, Coral Beauty, a couple rock hoppers ie.. blenny or gobi not sure, Cleaner wrasse, Gold Banded Maroon Clown 1 or 2, Some shrimps, more hermits & snails. brittle stars.
That's probablt it.
