Nice setup. Never had the Poseidon PS4 pump. I had the Velocity T4 and it was super quiet. Coulnt even tell it was on. The only thing is with the T4 was the heat it put back into the tank. I had to run a chiller with 2X 150DE pendants. Also The Titanium portion of the pump tended to calcify over time and needed to be serviced. Hopefully you installed unions on both ends of the pump for easy removal!

I would get rid of those clamps and have it plumbed using rigid pvc. Just make sure to incorporate unions at both sides of the pump.

the pump has barb fitting so thats why the rubber hose plus it's not so ridged there's just 3" of rubber hose at each end

dude, why not coat the metal clamps in liquid electrical tape, it's like $3 at HD. also to keep algae from growing on the clear tubing wrap in any color duct tape available at any 99 cent store for you guessed it 99 cents-

oh yeah sweet tank- I wish you the best of luck with it.

Could someone explain to me what unions are? or a picture.

A union basically allows you to plumb two pipes together. However if you need to you can detach the pipes by unscrewing the threaded portion of the union. Makes certain areas of your plumbing removable and easy to service.
