the Delux has 2 PC lights compared to the normal one only has one.

Btw - nice selection of corals. Shrooms, rics, and zoos all look sweet.

Noob - not sure what the 12G Deluxe is... this Nano is home grown. Lighting is a single bulb retrofit kit from AHSupply.

SA and Dude - thanks for the kind words.

SA - its "skimmerless". The plenum, occasional water changes, and B-Ionic seem to keep the water parameters in check. All-in-all a fairly low-tech, hands-off setup.

Awesome, hopefully I can get setup like that sometime in the future.

I think Noob was referring to the JBJ Manufactured Nano Cubes.

In which the differences can be read about at this link....www.thehiddenreef.com (http://www.thehiddenreef.com/saltwater_aquarium_supplies/aquarium_supplies_reef_products/jbj_nano_cube.htm)

Wow, that's a really nice tank you have there!

I'm in Vista and I run a skimmer-less 24gal AquaPod myself. You have a 40G Xenia farm? Recently, I had a piece of star polyps that were pushed down and ended up hitting my Xenias that I just bought. Subsequently, they are now dying. Do you happen to be selling any Xenia from your farm?;)

So after upgrading my 40G to the 100G my wife "encouraged" me to shutdown the Nano.:( Oh well, it was nice while it lasted... If you look carefully in the pics of my 100G you might recognize a few pieces. Base rock and sand ended up in the sump. Unfortunately my son has caught the dreaded "reef fever" and the new 10G in his room isn't mine, it's his... really.:D Guess I should start a thread for him one of these days.
