We just received an offer on our house and are going to be renting/couch surfing for a little while until we find a new one.

I am going to be taking the tank down and although I would like to take it with me, I think I will have to start over when I am settled.

I am trying to guage interest in selling the whole system together. If I cannot get rid of it as one piece, I will be selling the livestock and live rock/sand and keeping the equip to set up another day.

It is a:

36" True Vu 50 Gallon Bowfront with Tru VU platinum sump w/center overflow
Custom separate refugium with powerhead and macro/pods
250w HQI Halide with ballast PFO
2 55w Straight Pin Actinics and ballast. Royal Blue
Two Seio Powerheads
A 1200GPH submersible Return Pump.
Heaters
RO/DI unit
Tunze Osmolator and Kalk Doser
refractometer and 2 hydrometers
refugium light
alot of misc parts.
Coralife Timer
3 Coralife Fans
2 Clip Fans
Auaqmedic TurbFlotor Multi SL with Pump
Additional Aquamedic Submersible Pump

Livestock Includes:

Maroon Clown
BTA
Domino Damsel and Misc Damsel
Cleaner Shrimp
Snails and Crabs
2 Brittle Stars
Emerald Crabs x2-3
Various Montis
Favia
Feather Duster
GSP all over
Crocea Clam
Squamosa Clam
Alveopora
Goniopora (has lived well over a year and is growing)
Yellow Scroll
Giant Leather
Green Brain
Green Bali Slimer
Misc SPS
Live Rock (I have alot of Beautiful rockwork, no pests)
etc...

This tank has been running for about 3 years, with about 1 year in this 50G.

Is anyone interested in the whole setup? What is a fair price?

How much would you want for the whole thing? I am just now starting to look for a tank for my shop and this would be perfect dimensions. LMK

I would be interested in the metal halide ballast, refractometer, powerhead, heater and the ro/di unit. Also would be interested in both your clams and green brain if not already taken :) How much are you looking to get? Where are you located?

Sorry to have gone MIA for the last few days, but selling a house is a PITA.

I have some images posted for people to view...I am not yet parting it out as we have a 60 day escrow and some time to burn. Those of you who are interested in the whole tank, take a look at these shots and shoot me a PM with an offer.

I will have the pictures up in the next 30 mins....

Did you sell the tank? Parts?

So...it looks like we are in an escrow that is going to stick...so selling the tank has risen back up on the priority list.

I have been doing everything in my power to devise a way to keep it, but we just are not going to be ready to move it...

Please send requests or question to tcassidy@pacbell.net as I have a hard time keeping up with PMs. I would like to sell the whole darn thing, but will part out if I cant sell it whole.

Can people make suggestion on a fair price?

I would keep the equipment. You like what you have, and you have it set up the way it works for you. Right? Why sell it? To go bigger? Na. Make THAT decision when you are in your new home. You will only get pennies for your equipment anyways. Give or sell your prize pieces to your friends that you know will hook you right back up when the time is right! 5cents, Vinny

Tom- I highly advise keeping your equipment, at least the majority of it. I volunteer my garage to hold your tank/stand if you so desire. I can hold it up until...Feb or March or so probably. Let me know if you want it. It'll save you some good $$ rebuying things.

It is so nice to see the support of people on the board regarding holding items for months...THANKS!

That being said, the tank is gone. It went in about 2 hours today. I will still sniff around here from time to time until I get into the new house and figure out where to put the 125.

Thanks agian...you guys rule.
