My 30g Tank...Impressions?

Don't have pics of those zoas. it's only a small colony of about 10-12 polyps. I'll try to get some pics.

Ok.... Here's the zoas from the upper left corner of the 30 gal. tank. The next two photos are from my 36 gal. mixed-reef.

The first, I don't have a name for, the second, I would describe as neon-green center with brown skirt and orange frills (not very original I guess), and the third set are my pink-palys

Before too long, I'll be putting a small frag (10-12 polyps) of the pinks up as a PIF frag.

The others all seem like they're fairly common zoas to me :)

That would be pretty awesome. I like variety, and these pinks seem to grow lighting fast (they also greedily accept mini-mysis shrimp for dinner). I'll let you know once I get a frag of them read to put up PIF. What type of zoos you have?

What... no center shot picture of those amazing GSP's!!! I'm glad that you like them and that they've done well. It looks like there's some xenia in the tank as well. The zoo's and paly's are nice. I really love the color of the red shrooms. I've recently picked up a buch of sps frags and look forward to them getting bigger. I'm sure yours will too. Thanks for the PM! My 90 gal picts are on the forum too if you care to check it out. DAVE

Ditto Dave on the shrooms. The color is spectcular! Nice size too. Tank looks great. Good luck on the 100g reef. I wish my wife would "want" a 100g reef!

The 100g is only as far as being set up on a custom stand and canopy, and holding about 156lbs of oolite sand. I still need to build or obtain a good sized sump, and figure out how I'm gonna plumb a closed loop. The tank is designed to act as an island setup, so it has to be viewable from 3 out of 4 sides. Lots of work to do still :)

The shrooms everyone has mentioned are actually a light purple color, and are gorgeous in person :)

I redid the rockwork last night, cause I noticed that I don't have enough high flat areas to house SPS, and I wanted more surface area to be able to properly mount the sps that I do have. More pics to come soon :)
