im going to be creating a 12g cube zoo tank

the tank is 14x14x14
the lighting will be ??
skimmer will be an aqua c remore
filtration will be a aquaclear 20 hob filter for carbon
sunbstrate is 2" dsb with black tahitian moon sand
i will have 15 - 20 lbs of lr
right now i have a small black clown. what other fish would you recomend?

I would recommend a small yellow watchman and pistol.
Mine are doing great in my 12g he thinks he owns the tank. Hell swim right above my shrimp when they make a munchie run.

filling with ro di water. today i started the platform for it, painted tank back black, got black sand, and started to fill it and make salt water

im going to build a canopy for it so i need a retro of some kind. its 110 in ramona during the day so im going to do pc with fans so i dont need a chiller

Where do you find the black sand? I can honestly say, I've never seen it before! Sounds pretty sweet though!

well i know fish haven carries it (thanks chris) and ive seen it at pet smart. there more expensive then fish haven though.

i got a clown just like that, yeah it's a black saddle back. i was thinking of maybe selling it or trading it. i wanted to get some small black pecs instead.

nice tank amy tank is also going to be primarily zoas but its 29 gallons:) you might want to consider getting a false wall for that tank with some black acrilic so you dont see and equipment thats what im doing with my next tank;) those zoas are amazing especially the ones in the pic with the clown right over um,whered you get um?

Brandon, How is are those pink polyps doing? If you have any recent pictures of those under your lights, do you mind posting it? I'm curious in knowing if the rock they came from are two different colonies. Thanks.
