Hello,

I got the 150gal up and running by the end of March. One trick I did was dosing Calicum and Alk right at the beginning (when there is no livestock) so the Calcium and Alk is always at the premium. However, 70% of the corals were from another 1 year old 40gal.

Specs:

1. Light: 3x250W MH 20,000K XM bulbs. 2x32W PC actinic
2. Filtration: Euro-reef CS 6-1 Skimmer
3. Rock and Sand: 120 pounds of Live Rock and 150 pounds Argonite Sand
4. Stand and Canopy: DIY. I built it before I got the tank :D
5. Sump: Euro-fill 240 Sump. Rated for 240gal.
6. Pumps: Quiet One 4000
7. Powerheads: 2xTunzes - These ROCK!!!!. I tried Seizo, didnt like it.
8. Chiller: 1/5HP Artica. (it's crazy to not have one). $600, love it, never regret buying it.

That's about it. I aim for simplicity as my nano 18gal ViaAqua. Simple thing is simple to maintain. Hehehe.

Here's some latest news. My clarkii finally spawn today. I've been having the female for 2 years. Then on March, I bought another one to pair with the female. They turn out to be a good couple after a month of fighting over the carpet anemone. Today, they lay eggs near the carpet. Nothing is cooler

There are 4 colors of zoos on this rock, see if you can spot them all

Limited Green Polyps Sarchophyton from Steve Tyree. Bought it when it was a quarter size on Jan-2004. It's my palm size now.

SoKaL ReeFiN - I painted those models on my sites. It's my first hobby. Reef keeping is my secondary. ;)
