For people that want to do a nano cube at a cheap price, my friend found some pretty cool lighting. Check it out!

Go to http://www.bigalsonline.com/ click on lighting and click on power compact bulbs. Its a 20W 50/50.

I bought some and they are pretty neat. All you need is a standard socket and a extension cable. Ill show pics tomorrow.

There are hundreds of ways to upgrade the stock lighting on the nano cube ... most of which can be found at www.nano-reef.com . FUnny you mention Big Al's website ... I just bought a Minijet 606 pump to replace the stock for filtration, and I plan to use the stock as a powerhead in the tank to create great flow. Hopefully it doesn't create a "vortex of horror" ...

Yea there are many ways but this is the inexpensive way to do your nano cube. $10 + shipping a socket $1-$3 and extension cable $1-$2 for 20W. The bulb is only 6-9 inches too. Its has a build in ballast.
