I have upgraded the 75 and moved into this new 125. I just got a pair of black percs yesterday so now I am loving the tank. I hope you guys like it too. I have some t5s tha I hope to put up this week. Right now I am just running 3x96w(which are still for sale). So here are the pics.

A paired pistol and goby. These guys move all the sand on one side of the tank. And a Japanese Pistol moves the sand on the other side.

So here is all I have in this tank.

125 Clear for life.

The stand is higher than normal which I really like so I dont lean down to look in the tank.

The canopy is very narrow. That is why I am going with T5s.

I use a euroreef skimmer in my sump. It is powered by a genx pump. The only other pump I use is a Seio 620. I think I need a little more movement but everything seems pretty happy. I dose B-ionic every three days. I am currently using another brand from when they ran out of B-ionic. It seems to work really well. I have a drop in 1/4 hp chiller. It has been turning on twice a day recently. I have it turn on at 80 and it goes down to 78.

I use Scripps water and I change 10-15 gallons every three weeks. I am going to try and increase that changing but I get lazy whenI got to drive over there. I probably would be even lazier if I had to mix it myself.

My future plans are to put my t5s in and enjoy the new growth. I would also liek to someday get a calcium reactor. I like the growth a buddy of mine got on his when he hooked up his reactor.

That was alot of writing. For those of you who read it thanks I appreciate it. Those of you who didn't read everything thats ok too. I probably wouldnt have read it all either.

Hey Jarod thanks for all the details.. Tank looks awesome. Where did you get the black percs, tank, stand, and canopy from? I am thinking about getting either a 125-180 gal tank and I'm still trying to decide.

Thanks for the compliments. I bought everything here used. THis is pieced between my old tank and two other tanks. I found alot of it here on sdreefs. The black percs I found on craigslist. I have been looking for awhile and this guys was moving and needed someone to take care of his fish.

Very nice tank! I’ve been looking for a new setup myself. I currently have a 100 gal and looking for a 150-180 but just cant find the right stand and canopy. Was actually looking for a similar set up. I noticed that you said it was used but do you know where it was originally purchased? Any info would greatly appreciated.

I really like my T5s I am running a 6x54w retrofit kit. I am actually only running 5x54w because one of the fixtures is not working. I am making it my goal to try and fix it tomorrow.

nanoreefbro That is a nice set. I bought mine off of Ebay and have been very happy with it. It has the individual reflectors for it. The ballast runs pretty hot. I have a fan on them. I bought the whole set up for $250 w/o bulbs.

THe clowns get along great. One of the maroons picks on one of the black clowns a little bit butnot enough to worry about.

I used to dose with B-ionic now I have a kalk dispenser. It is in my tunze ozomalator. I really like it.
