i would like to trade a like new mag drive 18 (1800gph) for a mag 9.5 or similar. or cold hard cash to purchace a good pump to be used in a closed loop. this one is just to much flow for me.

how much flow do you want?I have a quiet one 6000 that produces 1504 at 0 feet of head so approx. 1300 at 4 feet. lmk

well it is going to used in a closed loop so on a 29g that is sps dominate so i figured that a md 7 or a 9.5 will be enough since i will have the output flow of the pump and the flow caused by the suction of the intake from low in the tank. so i sould be good. also i will have about a 300gph from the return in the sump. i wanted to maintain high flow in the tank and low flow through the sump for the skimmer and fuge to max out on filtering.

come on guys this is a monster of a pump i am sure that there is someone out there that needs this for a closed loop on a larger tank or even a main return pump. i am asking 80 obo.
