Nice tank, does the cherub bother any of your corals or did you get one of the good angels?

kvjev - I had a great start. :) thanks for the great deal! How's your new tank progressing?

cab - thanks!

jksreef - gracias, no the cherub leavs everything alone. He tried to impress the two percs for several hours when I first put them in, not they're all buddies.

chris- i have a cherub like yours too. what do you feed him and how often? =) tank looks good. mine is good with corals too. he flashes on the other fish alot though. he's kinda aggressive. beat the ish out of my black cap and now he's king...no, wait...he's KANG!!!

The tanks going slowly, but I've finally bought all my dry goods, minus a clamp for the return line and retrofit lighting. I'll probably hit you up on some rock and sand shortly.

jbvdhp... I only feed him and his two tank-mates frozen brine. I try twice daily, but usually only get in once daily..

kjkev...getting close! good! My LS is gone...but still got about 50lbs LR and 30lbs LR rubble..

chris- cool. do you ever try spirulina flakes or seaweed for your angel? i think they need that in their diets. i feed mine (along with everyone else) brine, mysis, a mix of seafood and seaweeds... how long have you had it? =)

Got it from kjkev ( :) Thanks!) about...2 months ago maybe? This is my first reef setup and I've been really worried about feeding messy foods leading to nitrates etc... I should probably feed a more varied diet. So far he's been doing awesome and hasn't lost his colors at all...

You probably shouldn't feed him brine shrimp, it has little nutritional value. I used to feed misis shrimp, formula 1, julian sprung algae. Ocean Nutrition(?) also has food formulated for angels.

Hm, ok, I'll change up the feeding habits. Does mysis have any different nutritional value compared to brine?

Nice looking tank! Really like the frogspawn.

DaChrisDude

Thanks! (me too!) I actually split him last week, so now they're two frogs... I'm now running into problems cause they're so big there's few places I can put him where they don't touch and sting other stuff....

hey chris- as far as i know, mysis is meater; perhaps it's richer in protein? i know they're "empty feeders" as in there's not really much to them. try some OSI spirulina flakes. your angel may take them slowly at first, but he should increase how much he eats as you feed em. my clowns even eat those flakes, along with EVERYthing else in my tank. =)

whatever

DaChrisDude

Lol...

I'll eventually have some frags, but not for awhile yet. I'm getting ready to start up a 50gal in a couple weeks and will be putting one of the frogs in there...

Again, nice tank.
