I got this tank for free a couple of weeks ago. It is a 20L 30x14x10". Acrylic. Its in awesome condition. I'm putting it together for my girlfriend. It has my 46 bow strip light on it so it looks pretty nice.. . Anyway check back for progress.

I just bought this light from a guy on another site. 3x65w powercompact. Hopefully I'll have it next week. I'll post pics when I have it on the aquarium.

Im not a fan for blue back ground but it might look cool. what do you plan on keeping in "your girls" (we know its yours) tank?

Blue backgrounds are key! More natural. After all the ocean is blue.

She wants an RBTA and then we'll probably get a couple lps, zoos, and some shrooms. I think it will be a pretty cool tank.

Those ones MFR was selling are super nice. I wanted one for my 46 but decided to wait untill I have my metal halides installed. When he has more this tank will be ready and I'll have to grab a couple.

Your tank's looking great, Zach. You're way ahead of me with that 20L. My tank is still sitting empty in the garage waiting for me to make more money! LOL. I still have a lot of work to do and a lot of parts to get.

Thanks bro. Even with the light I bought I think I only have $200 into it so far. I had the filters, sand, and powerheads just sitting around. I'll probably put another $500 into it before its done. I'm having a stand built for it this weekend. I'll keep you posted on progress.

I finally was able to modify the legs on the light so it sits at a decent height, I'm happy enough with it to start talking about this setup again. We added a couple things since last post as well. A couple percula clowns, a decent cleanup crew, and a scarlet cleaner shrimp. I'll post pics hopefully later tonight.
