dude i got a question, i see you got a blue tang. I have one too but mine still hasnt gotten used to its new home, it hasnt eaten since i brought him home. Was yours like this? All he does is swim to one of the tank and stays there hitting his head on the glass trying to swim through the glass.

Sounds like your fish is stressed out, he should be idly darting around the tank. I'm no expert in tang's but I've only seem mine run up and down a corner once... when changing over tanks. The fact that he's not eating is also not a good sign as they are voracioius eaters.

Unfortunately I can't provide an answer to the cause of your problem, I honestly have no idea what it could be (although the first two things that come to mind are too small of a tank or another fish is harrassing it). Id troll through wetwebmedia.com and RC to see if you can dig any, perhaps more specific information up.

krazz how did you add the fish to the tank? did you just drop him or did you acclimate him? what other fish are in the tank? what are your water parameters?

Justin, is this your tank? Did you move? Place doesn't look familuar. Don't worry, you are gtting there.... your tank will be as good as mine one day..... maybe.....:D

No this tank is hybrid240's tank.. Don't worry Gustavo ( hybrid240) you know it will be in my garage someday :D ....

I have had this blue tang for over 2 years. He has never done what you say. He eats like a motha though. All the fish in this tank with the exception of an emperator angel and a couple of gobies have been with me for quite a while.

P.S. Thanks Justin (SDFishman) for posting up my pics. I couldn't make it work.
