Posting some pictures. My hard drive crahed so I am having trouble finding full tank shots of a mature tank. I will post them when I find them. I hope they were backed up on on of the DVDs along with some other important pintures.

First day of plants:

Dang man! now you are making me re-think my decision to not set up a planted tank. Alright, give us the specs... how much light, what kind of substrate, what kind of CO2, what kind of filtration?

I hope you find the grow-out pics. It looks like you had a nice clean aquascape there.

Nice job.

Nice start on the tank, the H. Difformis looks great! have you heard of Aquaticplantcentral.com?
BTW, for those who are thinking about setting up a planted tank(jharr ;) ), I'll be putting my complete 55gal FWPT up on the market as soon as I can get some halfway decent pics up.

This tank below from plantedtank.net was my inspiration. But I think I was able to achieve this look or maybe even exceed (according to some of my friends). I will keep adding some more interesting planted tank picture I have collected and bookmarked.

BTW, I got the dragon plant from Petsmart on Rosecrans. In San Diego that is the best place to buy plants. Mike at PK also has some nice plants. I think he can also order them for you if you are looking for something in particular.

AAAArrrggggh! You're killing me! I stopped visiting planted tank sites so that I could get the idea out of my head. Now you've gone and ruined everything! (starts scribbling layout plans on used napkin...)

I'll get you for this pk-sd. I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS!!!!!!!

So are you selling this stuff off, or is that all from another, long-passed thread?
Cause the eco-complete is looking reeaaaal nice @ .25/pound.

I am tearing down my planted tank :( and converting into a reef. I had too many tanks, so something has to go. I will start a planted tank later as they can look amazing but for now I am selling most of the stuff.

Echo-Complete is less than year old but its in perfect condition. I paid something like $150 for it not too long ago. I am getting depressed just talking about selling the stuff.

I feel your pain, I just decided that I'll be selling my 55 main tank for a move, and maybe in a year or later I'll be getting a 125 gal or more to plant out. Till then I'm gonna put together a few real nice nanos and keep a growout tank system.

So.... I'm interested in some eco, about 40-50 pounds.
Which pmdd ferts do you have? I'm interested in those too.

I have:

Plantex CSM+B Plus Extra Iron 1 lb.

Mono Potassium Phosphate 1 lb

Potassium Sulfate 3 lbs.

Potassium Nitrate 1 l.b

RedClay 2 lbs (to make root tabs).

In air tight tupperware individual containers.

Make me an offer.

My offer is gregwatson's prices.
Plantex CSM+B Plus Extra Iron 1 lb. ($8.59 = 8.59)
+
Mono Potassium Phosphate 1 lb ($3.42 = 12.01)
+
Potassium Sulfate 3 lbs. ($2.17 = 14.18)
+
Potassium Nitrate 1 l.b ($2.17 = 16.35)
+
at least 40 pounds of eco ($10 = 26.35)

I posted this on a couple other forums, so I may end up taking more than this, but this is my minimum. Prices okay for you?
Oh, BTW... Are you offering up the plants too? You don't have to go into detail, but I might wanna snag a couple while I get the ferts & whatnot. :)

All PK's plants are now in my 100g planted tank:). Of course not as good as they look in PK's tank - I am a novice on this, but still looks very impressive. Thanks for everything, PK.
If you need, I can take all the substrate out of your hand too. I have a 40g tank right now is empty.

No problem Jay. acbaldwin is first in line for 40-50lbs of echo-complete. After that you are next for anything or everything that is left($0.25/lb).
