This picture shows my tank built into what used to be a closet. The end of the closet gave me access for a live picture frame into the living room. I am new at this whole, thing... I need help building up my reef now.
Its been settled for over a year.
1 two foot diameter bristle star
4 snails
4 hermits
1 percula clown
1 foxface
1 naso tang
1 unknown creature that I was told to get out of the tank

IMHO, remove that worm. BUT other than that, LOVE YOUR TANK.

ok, yeah I read up on the bristle worm, and I just went to my tank while it was dark and found several with a flashlight. I figure if I see that many now, I wonder how many I don't see. Should I get an Arrow crab? I don't see it possible for me to fish them all out.

Very cool setup. I can't wait until we're finished remodeling the new house so I can do something like that. Also, what kind of lighting do you have? That'll help determine which corals will thrive in your tank.

the thing is... it could be a fireworm or it could not...the chances of one getting into your tank is rare. all they other guys might be brittleworms.

here's away to remove them.

Here is the mystery about the tank. I used to have a RBTA and I went on a 5 day vacation, when I returned it was GONE. I suspect something killed it, which is why I look at the worm as being guilty. Any thoughts?

Looks like a nice set up! I love how the cabinetry looks. Any pics of the equipment?

bristle worm ate it for sure. Easy to make a trap and get it out. take a small plastic coke bottle. cut of the top third and invert and superglue or epoxy it back on. Don't feed the tank for at least a few days. Bait with silversides at night and check the trap before the sun comes up. Happy hunting...

I saw your tank and showed it to my wife. Now she wants one. Thanks for posting! I only hope I can plan a tank that looks that classy, well done.

That's a big bad fire worm... I've had em before... didn't seem to do any damage, even in a nano... :-/
