I am planning my sump and need some advice. I think I will put a phosban reactor in there since I am going fuge-less. My question is, "Can I just hook the skimmer outlet to the phosban reactor inlet?" The Sedra pump on my ASM Mini Skimmer, is rated at 120gph with the venturi. Will a phosban reactor give significant back pressure? If it does, is that a problem or will that actually help by increasing the dwell time in the skimmer? I read that the reactor should not exceed 80gph, so some flow reduction might be good. The next question is, "Will the skimmer output be too bubbly?" Will microbubles collect in the reactor, or will they just pass through?

Thanks for the help,

I think there'd be too much back pressure on the skimmer. I'd just use a nice Maxi-jet or something with an 80 gph ourput and then go from there. Too much hassle with worrying about back pressures and microbubbles, and the like.
