water spot on tank

i have water spots on my tank and it wont come off when i rinse it or scrub. it's like the water spots in the shower. is there anyway I can get rid of it.

Is it glass or acrylic?? I have an acrylic tank and I use plexus when I get water spots on the front of the tank..

Try lime away or some THS ( I dont think thats the real acronym but its close)

Plain old vinegar will do the trick

windex doesn't work, but i'll try lime.

regular vinegar as charles said works best. Dip a paper towel in it and put it up against the spot.

dish washing soap works great.. When I was a window washer we used dawn dish soap.. That was stuff most window washers companies use..

you don't want any soap and crap in a tank.. use vinegar.. works great.
