Live Sand

I have some LS I have had in a bucket outside for around month ( in saltwater ). Is the sand still good to use? Should I clean it? If so how? It's only about a pound. I'm putting it in a Refuge im setting up.

If there was no water movement I would think the worms and creatures from the sand are probably dead by now. IMO I would not risk it for just one pound of sand. Maybe you can get some sand from someone? I am BB so I cannot help there.
