I Just Bought A 12 Gallon Aqua Pod On Friday I Set It Up With Live Rock Yesterday Today It Seemed To Be Getting Brown Algae Theres No Fish In It I Heard Its From The Nitrate Levels How Do I Get Rid Of It?? Thanx

I would increase the flow in the tank and shut the lights off for a few days.. New tank have algea blooms it normal..

I agree with swissfish. You need to read up on setups/filtration/expectations, etc. Knowledge and patience are the two most important elements in this hobby. I recommend getting a couple of books (Bob Fenner's Conciencious Marine Aquariast for one) and checking out this web site for the articles: http://www.wetwebmedia.com

In short, all tanks go through an algae phase as they cycle and mature. Just be sure NOT to add any livestock for at least a month. I always recommend, longer, but not one seems to have the patience to wait that long (not that I did myself, either, but it's just better to).

Its Not That Bad Its Just On The Live Rock Mainly
