Yeah its pretty funny, before i got my tank i would run to the doorway, now after my tank today i ran staight to it to hold it from shaking. Natural instinct i guess. Hope there arent any more.

Well, that was a first for me.

I'm on the phone with my dad telling him about it. Felt kinda like when someone sits down on the other side of a waterbed...

com'on guys. that was nothing. being from the la area, that was like standing in an indoor mall on the second floor and the ground just keeps moving because everyone is walking.

what babies! plug is right, wait until you are in a REAL one. i was in one in LA (1969 i think?) that rolled me right out of bed.

i was in a great one up in big bear a few years back! Mountains are the best because they funal up, and maginfy the quake!

im over here in bankers hill, it wasnt that much of a damage. the office cat next to me didnt even wake up.

Wow, Yeah I called my house to no one answer my wife is out by the pool. Still wondering if I got a 100 gallons of water hanging out on the floor.

i was in the bay area for both big ones
86 i think and 89. those were good ones
i missed the big LA one by a few hours
driving to see the rents in SF and deciced to leave a few hours earlier!

my luck is running out! HAHA

Well my tank survived no water on the floor. The last one I was in was in 1989 it was a 7.1 I think. I was living in LA at the time.
This one wasn't that bad but still a 5.1 is nothing to laugh about.

hahah...hey nalbar, my 30 gallon hex emptied 3/4 of the water on the floor during the northridge earthquake. that was fun trying to get all my fish back into the water.

2nd floor at work adn we all felt it. Glass wobbling, lamps rocking. It was cool. I was just hoping something huge wasn't following. No tank damage here.
