Does anyone have any info on the Fission Nano Skimmer? Also, has anyone done a DIY skimmer? This is for a 15g, so i need something very small.

They actually work! And work well! The only problem I'm having is the skim I'm pulling is super wet. But I gotta clean the collection cup out every few days. Def something needed in every nano.

I noticed that if you bare pulling to much on a skimmer, you have too much bubbles. i solved this with an air valve to adjust the amount of air being injected.

Anyone seen the ASM Mini G skimmer?? I heard they are pretty good and around $100..

I've seen 2 of those mini g's set up. They are pretty sweet and very cost effective.

whats the water recommended water level for the skimmer portion of the sump? im currently building a sump and i have an extremely tall first section which i was going to put my cpr bakpak on.... but with the price on this guy i may reconsider. looks like i would need to change the height of that first baffle though. water level under the sponge? roughly 6 inches? i would want more water volume in the sump, how would you accomplish that?
