Just wondering where everyone go to get their dishwasher.

Thinking about choosing between Sears, Bestbuy, or Lows.

thanks

that's where we got our washing machine. Go to sears to have a look at their floor models first, then head over to the outlet.

i didn't know about the Sears outlet until a few months ago, but we got a dishwasher just before that. BestBuy had a 2 year no interest offer so we got ours there. We don't have a truck so we had to have it delivered. IT was $50 but they give you a mail in rebate to offset it. They take the old dishwasher away for you. I am happy with the process but wish we would have gotten a more expensive one considering the financing offer. We got a midrange one and it is still noisy. I may try to wrap some insulation batting around it to cut down the noise. I don't know how to seal off the cabinet around it though. good luck!

MrKrispy, how much was the mail in rebate? $50? I like the taking away the old one idea, probably cheaper than hire someone to take it away. How much were the one you got? Maybe I should get something more than one you got, since the one you have is noisy.

Chap, no worry, that way you can make sure every dishes are washed clean and plus washing dishes builds charactor anyway. Keep up the good work. :D

You have to shop around a bit. When we bought new appliances we found the best deal was with Lowes. They had 0% financing for 6 months- no minumum purchase. They also give you a coupon for whatever the delivery charge is (usually $50). If you buy a Whirlpool appliance over $400 they will give you a $100 gift card.

I think ours was a $400 frigidaire. The delivery fee was $50 and they give you a $50 rebate. Check with SDG&E website also, we got a $30 rebate for buying an energy star dishwasher, and I also had a 10% off coupon for best buy.

You need to have a best buy card to get the 2 year no interest.

buy one with a garbage disposal build in, it will keep the appliance repair man out of your house and you don't have to rinse the plates.

My wife and I were looking last night and Lowe's actually had much better prices than the Sears Outlet store. I was kind of suprised but, sure enough, $50-75 cheaper and it's new... Looks like Sears Outlet is the place to go for refrigerators though

yes definitely get the built in disposal. Most dishwashers around $400 and up have them, but not all.
