Dosing B-Ionic

I have a HOB fuge with chaeto. Can i dose into the hang on fuge or is it better to put it directly into the tank?

I only dose in the bucket(Scripps water) before water change. But dosing in the fuge or tank should not make a difference. This stuff resolves very quickly.

I'd dose in the main tank in some high flow area... the fuge has relatively low flow, and the local pH shift of the b-ionic could hurt the pods.

Not if dose in the return area, goes straight to the tank. Dosing in the fuge has to be lot more convenient than dosing in the tank.
