does any one know how long would it take for bleach to leave an aquarium system. i think, i over bleached my corals

the only fish i had died,:( with in an hour ...
is it safe after 24hr

i was thinking of doing water change..

i added lots of { PRIME }

what? you added bleach to a tank w/ animals??

I hope I misunderstood that.. anyway, 24 hours of aeration should do the trick depending on HOW MUCH was in there.. amquel Plus would greatly help the proccess.

edit: I think you mean bleached corals for a FO tank.... next time, soak them in water w/ amquel plus overnight to ensure they are chlorine free. In the mean time, dost the hell with amquel plus.. and crank up your flow/aeration.

Bleach is supposedly gone after it has completly been rinsed and dryed. I have always done the bleach, then rinse and dip in DI water, then dry. No probs. Like Dakota said, dose the crap out of it with AmQuel and NovAqua and get the air and circulation turned up.
