What research have you done so far? Read any books? Online articles?

What have you bought so far? What is your budget? What animals do you want to keep?

Any experience before? Freshwater? Salt? Reef?

What kind of tank are you going to buy? The early model Nano-Cube 24s had a bad track record for cracking after they have been setup and running for a while. If you buy a N-C 24 make sure it is one of the new thicker glass models. You can loose hundreds of dollars worth of corals in short order if the glass cracks.

How can you tell if it is a thicker glass model? I was looking at the d/x model.

Hey Drew
Read this forum thread, it shows what to look for to make sure you get the updated model.

i have a 24g nano cube that i modded to have sps and i have had zero problems with it. i would recommend that you change out the stock return pump with a mj1200. the stock return pump generate a ton of heat and is ssome off brand that makes alot of noise.
