So I'm planning on getting, more than likely, a 60 gallon glass tank with overflow and matching stand, yada, yada, yada. Eventually will put in Metal Halide pendant lights (have to hang from brackets, because the ceiling is too high).
This is going from a 46 gallon bowfront, with 2x96 PC bulbs, some soft corals, shrooms, clowns and cleanup crew, plus my live and base rock that I've had for a while. Oh, and a sump/refugium with external overflow.
How would you migrate to your new tank considering the same basic setup? Would you get more live rock and new sand and then basically cycle a new tank before putting in the stuff form 46 bowfront?
Anything specific that you would do for moving to a slightly larger tank?
