Hey all I am blundering along on this whole saltwater/reef tank thing and having serious issues. Call it a lack of skills or whatnot but I think I need a little professional help for some on site setup.

I have a 40G acrylic with one corner drilled and a sump underneath. I set it all up and made some modifications to get all the plumbing right but I am still having problems. While I was gone this weekend I had a drip that shorted out a surge protector. Could have burned my house down and that is when I realized I need help.

Looking for someone preferrably in the Oceanside area that can come and give me a hand. For a reference point I live right inside the front gate of Camp Pendleton. I can come pick you up and escort you through the gate. Someone that knows about plumbing and has some decent connectors and tools on hand. I will take pictures of my setup now so they can refer to that in order to plan out repairs. Name your price pretty much because the wife and I are tired of fooling with it and just want to get it up and running.

I do have a 55G glass with a Fluval 304 and a stand plus a canopy without lighting but two Workhorse 3 ballasts I could exchange for labor :)

Thanks,
Gabe

i can help you out. i doubt if it can be done in one trip however. more than likely i will have to look at it, then get the parts necesary, then return to fix it.

now the question is when and how i can get through that gate! would it be safe to just cut through the fence somewhere with wire cutters??

JK JK!!
