hello, i have about 1 inch worth of some coral sand in my tank. i want to add a nicer, thicker layer of finer sand, and was wondering if i should even do that or what the benefits of having a deeper sand bed would be? i remember someone telling me they wished they didn't have a deep sand bed and had wished they left it barebottom. any thoughts?
