It's awful hard to see what it is, but it almost looks like Aptasia or Manjo which would be a bad thing:(

Can you post a picture in focus?

It looks to me like you might want to get that rock out of your tank ASAP...

maybe he's selling it as food, aptasia-peppermint shrimp food/green hair algae-lawnmower blenny food. see that way you feed two inverts in one purchase =)

ya know it really reminds me of the pink hitchhiker zoos that sometimes come with yellow polyp rocks and take over... maybe i'm looking too hard. looks pretty cool though. it might be a type of parazoanthus... if so i'm interrested. but first i'd like to really see what was in the pic. i just don't wanna take a risk and be totally wrong. try backing away from it and taking a wider angle shot and then just cropping the part you wanna show us.

ok, I'm not sure what they are, but I know that they grow pretty fast. Let me take a better pic a little later. I'm having a little trouble becuase it's in the corner of the tank and my roommate has another tank getting in my way. But i'll try my best to get a better pic.

Those are called Majano Anenomes, not exactly a desirable species. They grow like weeds and will sting you corals.
I have been killing mine off for months using Joe's Juice.
