Chalice thoughts

I received this chalice in the mail today.

It is the guy in the center of the picture with the black hole where the mouth is located.

This was the picture from the web page when I ordered him.

I think I remember someone saying that chalices can have an eye lose its mouth and it will die.

I am just curious if this normal or is he a goner. Thanks

Looks kind of rough but it may just be from shipping. Maybe just notify the vendor and keep an eye on it.

it's open from shipping, it should close back up and look normal. But shipping is a difficult thing on corals so either way keep an eye on it.

Thanks for the input. I got a total of 10 chalices. Everybody else looks great. This one is the one I am worried about.
