i also notice that you have some orange zoos in your tank. they appear to be the 'large' polyp type, meaning each polyp is about a half inch across. if true could i get a frag from you sometime? i have been trying to find some that are like the ones in AW's display tanks, large orange/red ones.

i saw this by following your www button and looking at your zoo pics.

Hey Ron I like the new setup. Just though I would give you a update I seen your maroon clowns the other day. There still doing good.

Good to know! I miss those maroon's. Have the owner post up some pics of them for me. Thanks for the updates.

Nice Ron, the tank is super clean. It turned out really nice. What are your plans with equipment/stocking wise?

Thanks Paul, I'm not exactly sure how I want to stock the tank yet. All I know is I want to keep a mixed reef with an emphasis on stony corals... LPS... SPS. The overall goal is to keep all the equipment (except for the lights obviously) under the tank. Nothing at all will be hanging off the back or coming up and over the back side of the tank. I learned a lot from my last reef set-up about what I don't want it to look like.

I'll probably end up with a custom sump of some sort that will occupy no more than half the floor space of the cabinet. Leaving room for the Cal-Reactor, Co2 bottle and reservoir and chiller. All that equipment will have to be housed in some sort of bi-level shelving system inside. I haven't thought out the details thoroughly... yet.

Lighting will be the 24" ATI Powermodule. Not sure if I want to run the 8 or 10 bulb design.

Very slow progress on this new tank. I'm still looking for an aquacontroller and calcium reactor. Preferably used. It doesn't help that I want a certain brand and model.

I have an older Knop CR (http://www.marinedepot.com/KNOP_Calcium_Reactor_HD_Saltwater_Aquarium_Calcium _Reactors-KNOP-KP1111-FICRRA-vi.html) that has a broken valve on top. Pretty easy fix for an otherwise perfect reactor. I'd sell it dirt cheap if you are interested.

Thanks for the offer. I have my eyes set on a GEO 612.

Got a great deal on a used GEO612 and aquariumplants electronic CO2 doser. I was at the right place at the right time when the guy posted it for sale. Getting there.
