Ya those are the cream of the crop as far as triggers go, and reef safe to boot. What a great set, I'm jelly.

Awesome score on that pair Rudy, no wonder you were selling your vlamingi tangs. You need to post a FTS soon. How is the DJ doing, I miss that dude.

Thanks guys.
I've literally been looking (and saving$)for a pair of crosshatch this size for 7 years. Pretty much since the time I set up this tank.
The female is not quite as bright as the male.
Hey Jason he's getting big!ger, he hangs with the triggers and the other smaller DJ.
I'll get a FTS soon.

I don't know much about triggers but how much are they, and how big do they get? I've heard those are the best one before though ;)

awesome Rudy and perfect sized tank for them. I remember seeing Marde's pair in his 375g and I believe they were outgrowing that tank.

I'm really hoping to have them for a few years before they get too big for the tank :)

sweet and heard they are reef friendly but not so wallet friendly, never seen them for sale. scared to ask how much and how big they get but hey some chalices i've spent too much on as well so maybe there is a future crosshatch savings fund for my tank too that is a really cool fish, congrats

They get pretty big, 10" plus.
It's hard to find them under 6" and are expensive if you do.
They also need a large tank, 240+. I wouldn't put mine in anything less than 400.

I've only ever seen show size ones for sale, and only seen maybe 2-3 in person. They used to have one for sale at the Encinitas Fish Store (not Shipwreck), but if I remember correctly it was around 1300. They are amazing looking fish. Especially the males. Real jealous Rudy. Amazing pick up.

Yeah you don't see small ones much at all.
You're welcome to drop by. If you ever get around fallbrook, hit me up.

I will for sure Rudy. It's always impressive to see that monster tank too.

seems too much fish for my 300 at 10 inches but it does give cause to a future build and another savings fund.

Just buy smaller specimens. They are worth it.

Smaller ones are a little harder to find, and usually cost more, but definitely worth it if you want to keep them for a while.
