DAMMMMMMMmM Jeff .....beautiful catch bro :shocked:...... Now that's a angler..lol.
Last 3 saltwater trips was hell for me.....on one we got stuck and took 7 hours to get back to shore.....2nd trip. I got REALLY sea sick(didn't fish:curse:) and the 3rd trip..engine blew on friends boat ...I think I'm curse.......so I try to stay freshwater LoL

Makes me want to get a boat. I'm an inshore fisherman most of the time and can't get to those guys lol.

None of mine are this impressive...we go stream fishing in waders up in the Sierra Nevadas during the summer for rainbow trout but they usually aren't much bigger than 2 pounds or so

I could keep going but I'm not sure where all my pics are. My buddy has a really nice DSLR with wide angle lens so he usually takes the pics. I know he has most of them. These are just the ones I had in photobucket already.

Is the bottom pic a sand bass. I went on a charter when I first got out here and caught a few 3-4 pounders they were fun. I was using my medium heavy spin rod so it was a fight lol.

Yes the last pic is a sand bass caught on the flats off Huntington Beach a few years ago.

During a tournament 4 or 5 years ago the twin Mercury Verado outboards on my friends boat went into safe mode about 60 miles offshore in rough seas. It took us 8 hours to get in. Fortunately safe mode put us at perfect trolling speed and we caught Albacore on the way in.

I was too tired the night after to get it all rinsed and portioned out for sushi. Then Friday I went out for my friends bday. I ended up having to rinse bag and freeze it. Just thawed some at barbecued it. Was amazing! Going again tomorrow. Any fish caught tomorrow will be prepared for sushi!

This was taken during a surf trip to Fiji. Surf a couple of hours, back to the boat to catch some yellowtail, freshest sashimi lunch then back in the water for a hundred more perfect waves!
