I'm selling my 300g. I love this tank but I'm downsizing to new 180g cube.

It's currently set up as freshwater, but it was salt/marine aquarium about 1 year ago (I can share some youtube videos if you are interested). It's super clean, absolutely NO salt built up. It's in great shape, no leaks, no major scratches, the stand and canopy both look good.

Dimensions: 8'x2'x2.5' or 96"x24"x30" (2.5' or 30' is height which is rare size tank). It's 1 inch thick glass (this thing is heavy). It's got two corner overflows (2" drain and 1" return in each corner).

I'm asking $850 for tank/stand/canopy. No livestock, lights or filters included. 619-261-9831 Mark

This is 2 years ago when it was set up as reef: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJp4iKDY2Nc

I am not sure on how much I should ask for it. Included are tank, stand and canopy. Tank is super clean since it's freshwater currently, no cracks or leaks or scratches, stand is solid, stand and canopy have decent coat of paint on them. I'm thinking 800-900. Is that fair? What do you guys think.

Wayyyy more than that, if filled with water alone, the WATER would weigh 3000 lbs. Thats not including tank, stand, etc.

Very fair on price, mine was fairly complete and more money when I bought it but is a fair price, would not sell it for less really if you look at other tanks for sale. I meant I would not sell it for less

It took 4 grown men to bring it my apartment. The glass tank itself must be around 600lbs if not more. With water and live rock it's additional 2500lb or so.

This is what it looked like a couple of years ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJp4iKDY2Nc

Please text your offers at 619-261-9831. Thanks! I would like to get $850-1000 if possible but I will work with you.

That's a decent price for a tank in good condition. Usually I have things for a couple bucks lower here than what I post it for on craigslist, just my 2cents.

Water weight is about 8 pounds per gallon but take out the volume with rock and sand but then add in weight of rock and sand. A good estimate is 10 pounds per gallon for overall weight

I think you are definitely in the ball park of a fair offer. $800-$1000 is a fair price in my opinion. Good luck with the sale!!!

Thank you for your messages. I got some offers already. One person is coming to check it out tomorrow and is willing to put down $100 deposit before picking it up this weekend. The current offer is $850.

Any offers before the weekend? I will likely be setting up my new 180g this weekend and that would make my 300g available for pick up this upcoming weekend.
Please let me know if you are interested.

Chris from lotsa fishies moves tanks all the time. Hit him up and see what he'll charge. If dude needs it gone today, I'm sure he's going to show you some love. Add his price + Chris's price, might = new tank in your home tonight!

I replied to all messages and text that I received.

Here is the deal: I moved out of my apartment in Oceanside yesterday but my landlord let me keep the tank there for a few more days. I'm in my new house in La Mesa. If you are serious about buying this fish tank, I will drive up there (40 miles).

NEW PRICE: $600 This is very cheap considering what it is. Call your buddies with truck and come pick it up. You can always resell this for $800-900. It won't last long.

Call me or text me at 619-261-9831
