Vets pets in El Cajon

I just wanted to share how much I love vets pets. It was only in the last few months that I even found out about this place, and I'm glad I did. Chris and his staff have been so helpful and honest that I don't even go anywhere else, and of course the prices keep me coming back too. They were even happy to assist me even when I showed up the minute they closed. Needless to say I've boughten a lot of livestock from them and couldn't be happier with anything that I've got. Just wanted to say thanks!

Imo vets pets has gone down hill since the move. I still visit and talk with the big guy. To go from what they had to what it is now is a huge bummer.

The shop is lacking those nice fat tanks they had in the aquarium section sadly the displays aren't the same as they used to be. But I used to buy freshwater from V.P all the time back in the days. sold me one of my favorite hybrids out of all my fish ever owned. I go by when in the area. they have been around a while and service is simple and polite.

Chris is known for picking out quality livestock. I also like the fact that you can pay a bit more and have them QT any fish for you. My achilles is from VP - was QT'd for 6 weeks

They have a big store with a lot of open space not much fish. They never have anything I want.

Their older Location had more fish and better display but good people. And prices aren't bad.

I stopped here yesterday and This is a pretty nice place for such a small area. they had lots of fish please of standard coral a few nice things. More then enough pulsing xania.... like WAY MORE then enough lol. Unfortunatly There lighting for there coral isnt that great. Not sure if its just the light T5 of burnt out T5 but nothing has a lot of color. would have been nice to see what some of there look likie un some nice actinic or Blue LED. I am from san diego so this is a 30 min drive for me. I might stop back if they checn the lighting.

Just found this place and Chris makes it awesome. Great livestock, awesome knowledge, and great advice. Plus the bag sales! Definitely recommended.
