Neat! It pegged me dead on for Philadelphia/south Jersey, which is where I grew up. This reminds me - a few years ago I was on a flight across the country, and the chatty woman sitting next to me kept engaging me in conversation although I was just trying to read a good book. Finally, she handed me her business card, explaining that she had a doctorate in linguisitics with a specialty in North American dialects. She said she could tell I had spent much time in the Philly/south NJ area, but that I had elements of many other areas in my accent and wording, and that the two sometimes didn't match up - I told her that I've lived for a year or more (mostly from my time in the Navy) in PA, CT, VA, SC, GA, FL, and here in San Diego. She basically said I was a linguistic mutt :) and asked if I would allow her to arrange a speech study on me. Didn't happen though - I wasn't interested.

It gave me two places in new mexico and one in Arizona, never been to any of them. Grew up on Montana, lived in North Dakota for 6 years and was stationed in Japan my first 3 years in the navy. Been in SD since 97.

It put me from Denver and Aurora in Colorado and Overland Part in Kansas. Since I spent most of my life in Colorado Springs CO not far down the road from Denver and Aurora I guess it matched me pretty good. My home state of Florida was also really orange but not among the 3 given answers.
