New stand

Got tired of using milk crates - was a little short of wood for a new stand. Do you think this will be OK when the "Big One" earthquake strikes?

Looks sketchy to me. I would throw some 2x4's on the ends to distribute the load.

That's a lot of a load on the center Of the tank definitely need braceing on the ends

i think the stand is overkill. Cut the amount of wood used in half and then I think you're good to go.

You're using way too much wood. Just keep the 2x4 on top and get rid of the rest. That way you don't have to nail anything.
